How Hydrogen and Platinum Team Up to Fight Cancer Cells

A Japanese study found that hydrogen combined with platinum nanocolloid can stop cancer cells from growing by creating a burst of hydrogen peroxide. This increases reactive oxygen species and DNA cleavages, making it harder for cancer cells to multiply. The research is promising, but more studies are needed to understand its potential for human cancer treatment.
